Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our cocotte, from caring for the enamel to using it in your home oven. We have gathered the most useful details here before you turn on the stove.
how to choose the right cast iron casserole
The right choice depends on wall thickness and capacity. Our 26-centimeter, 5.2-liter model is designed for everyday meals for four to five people. The heavy cast iron thickness ensures stability on induction cooktops, gas stoves, or inside the oven.
what is the salolegen casserole made of
The body is made of heavy cast iron coated with three layers of inert vitreous enamel. The top knob is made entirely of solid 304 stainless steel. There are no plastic components or chemical non-stick coatings.
how to clean enameled cast iron after use
Wait until the casserole reaches room temperature to avoid thermal shock. Use warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Avoid metal scouring pads that could dull the enamel finish.
how can I order and pay for the product
Enter your delivery address directly in the order form on the website. You can choose cash on delivery to hand to the courier upon arrival, or advance bank transfer. We do not require any card during the process.
when is the order handed over to the courier
Orders confirmed by 14:00 on business days are prepared and handed over to the courier that same afternoon. Orders received after that time depart on the next business day from our warehouse in Padova. You will receive the tracking code by email to follow the shipment.
how do 30-day returns work
You can request a return within 30 days from the moment of delivery. The casserole must be untouched, never used on the stove, and stored in its complete original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, unless the item has manufacturing defects.
