Our story: rediscovering cookware made to last
Salolegen grew out of frustration with lightweight pans that warp after six months of heat or lose their non-stick coating after one careless wash. We wanted reliable cookware with the substantial weight of traditional pans, paired with the practicality of modern vitreous enamel.
We decided to organize distribution straight out of Padova, where we set up a manual inspection for every single package. We do not rely on blind shipments from overseas warehouses: every Dutch oven is opened, checked, and repacked with reinforced protection before being handed to the courier.
We believe in a straightforward relationship with cooks: we only offer cookware we know down to the last gram, provide cash on delivery for convenience, and answer every question personally.
Reliable raw materials
We only use thick cast iron and enamels free of volatile compounds. We do not use lightweight alloys to cut down on freight costs.
Commercial clarity
We do not invent deceptive discounts or artificial promotional figures. The price reflects the actual cost of materials, craftsmanship, and manual inspection.
Shipping care
Every package is prepared with courier handling in mind, using reinforced edge protectors to prevent dents. We ship directly from the province of Padova.
We work to bring solid cookware into Italian homes, eliminating fragile synthetic coatings and middleman markups. We check every single piece in our Padua warehouse before handing it to the courier.
